Today my Grandpa, Robert Elmer Updike,
went home to be to with his Savior
A celebration indeed
But we'll miss him . . . very much
We take much heart, much joy, much praise
in knowing that someday we'll see him again
Praise the Lord

K.M. Updike writes young adult and historical fiction and has a frustrating fascination with fantasies that gets in the way a lot. She is the author of the young adult historical fiction novelette, The Life and Death of Terry Dodd. A lover of books and prairies, she lives with her five siblings and inspiring parents in the wilds of the Great Plains. Besides reading books and writing stories, she loves watching old movies and drinking tea in her basement room dubbed "Mole End."

That is good! (You know what I mean...It's bad that he died for you all, but good for him.)
Kay, I'm so sorry. May the Lord wrap you in His perfect peace. Praise the Lord that you have the hope of seeing him again!
I love you so much!
I'm so sorry guys... I know it's so hard! *hug* I will be praying!
I'll be praying for you and all your family, dearest. I am so glad that he is with Jesus right now and that you'll all see him again someday.
Lots of love,
Laura
Dear Kayla, We are praying for you all as you grieve, yet with hope, for your grandpa ~ 2 of our girls from our youth group just lost their grandma on Sunday ~ Love you all, and know that we are thinking of and praying for each one of you.
Denielle for Jon, too
