Oh the Joy of Randomness!

Well, for the lack of something better to post, I decided to let loose some of my odd randomness! So don't become utterly shocked if I suddenly start singing "When I See an Elephant Fly" or something! Just to let you know, that is completely normal...for me.

Earlier this week we got to spend a little R&R at a lake near where we live. We had some time to fellowship and visit with good friends from our homeschool group and the water was perfect for swimming--only I didn't get any pictures of us swimming. Just some random one's from around.

This first one is of the 3/5 of the group who decided to troop along from our family. Well, 4/6 if you count the dolphin, Orie Doo. :D

A rear view glance at where we've been...

And a look at where we are going. :)

Some of the moms at the lake, deep in a homeschooling conversation.

A sweet little girl and my pal, Callie. :)

Ethan, my little bro, imitating a sun bear. :P

A guy there on the beach was building a really cool looking sandcastle! I only wish we could have stayed long enough to see the finished project. But it looked like it was going to be spectacular!

A little bit of the lake and the surrounding red rock hills.

And now just some random one's from around home.

Joseph on his famous, new bike ramp, which he built himself!

Ethan again, looking very much the basketball dude!

Our Sunday evening walk. Mom and my other two sisters.

My older bro, Will, who's head didn't get in the pic and our two dogs, Misty and Sarge. And Ethan doing--something.

Joseph. Adorable. That's all I can say. Adorable! Don't tell him I said that, though!

And ending with one of the Lord's glorious masterpieces!

"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him...?" Psalm 8:3-4a

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork." Psalm 19:1

Hang it all, Blogger ate my comment. If I remember properly it went something like this:

YAYAYAY! Is this really Dutch? #23 on the List of Random Things that Make Alyosha Happy is One of Her Friends Getting a Blog. So all manner of congratulations to you. :P And yes indeed, welcome to the blog-world!

And lovely pictures--I really like the one of the mirror, and the road ones. :)
