On WORD, Nature and a Promise

Well, the days have sped by, it's now nearing the end of October and I've been doing so much but accomplishing so little it seems! :) So, in light of that I have accomplished nothing worth talking of, that I wished to have accomplished--we will leave the unaccomplished things as unaccomplished as they are and stir up some of the other things going on about home. :)

WORD is our Wednesday night family activity that we created a year or so ago and its stands for Warriors Of the Righteous Deliverer. My little brother came up with that! We all looked at some scripture passages, came up with our own little name and voted. WORD got the prize! :) So here we are going about our evening activities and having a marvelous time...

First, we play games!

Hannah and Dad playing a game called Nim...one of those strategy games! :)

Hannah, having beat Dad, I believe, playing William.

Hannah beating William.

Random pic...very random...I have no idea what it means!

Another look at the game Nim.

Getting ready to play our favorite WORD game, Samurai!

"Didst thou say thou likest not my new haircut??"

"Didst thou say thou likest not the feast I prepared for thee?"

"I asked you FIRST!!"

Next, we have Bible and 'Wisdom With the Millers', memory verses from Proverbs.
And then we are usually inclined to read our book together, pray to the dear
heavenly Father, wish each other a wonderful nights sleep
and then head off to bed. :)
And now the wonderfully created nature of God! All I did was merely
take a picture of it. :)
A while ago, I think it was when I first started my blog, a friend and I were putting together a Purity Club with our friends online and Krys suggested we put something on our blogs that said we were apart of the club or put a graphic up or something. So now I'm finally getting around to posting something about it!
This Is My Promise

This is my promise, one that I'm bound to keep,

To love him forever and never forsake.

A promise I made to the Father,

A promise sealed with a kiss.

It's written on my heart,

A reminder on my finger,

To love him forever and never forsake.

Have a blessed day! :)

"Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen." Hebrews 13:20-21
