Talking Pictures...

OR...A Weeks Worth of Pictures! :) This is what a leisurely school day looks like at our home! Plus some of the adventures that take us far into the wild! :)

Joseph do his Apologia Science. Wow! That book was a tough! I remember going through that one! :)

And...this is what my desk looks like after school is finished for the day. :)
And here is Hannah, in her favorite spot to do school. A cozy little nook, I have to say! :)

Ethan's favorite part of school is...recess! You can't imagine how many things he finds to do! :)

The ever present school table and the school teacher's office which at times is occupied by one student or another! :)
More school! This time consuming the dinning room table! I love school! :)

History! Best subject in the world!
And now we come to the many "adventures that take us far from home". Monday we went to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park and stopped at the Hole in the Wall Picnic Area. Lovely spot! The leaves were turning, it was bright and cool and the stream trickled happily nearby.

I made this one a bit too dark, but it's the stream cascading downward toward the bridge beneath tall pines and fall foliage.

This was sweet, I had to take a picture of it! It says Chad up on top and I'm guessing the girl's name is Kay or something! :D

And here is the Hole in the Wall! :) It doesn't go back very far, but it's pretty awesome!
I'm glad Joseph was submissive to my, "Stand right there--move a little bit this way--No! Other way"-- For my helpful sisters were helping with lunch while I took pictures! :S
A beautiful Ash Tree. They are always the first to turn in the autumn out here. :)
Another look at the stream, this time looking up stream from the bridge.

Another look at the Hole in the Wall. It really is lovely place to picnic!

Experimenting with photography! Although I'm hopelessly not a photographer! I think I just like taking pictures! :)
"Look Mom! I can hold this boulder up with my finger!" :D
More experimenting!
Have a great day, everyone! Thanks for stopping by! :)
"He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."

I loved the post, Kay! Pictures are so awesome! And you did a lovely job taking them, I especially like the one with the beautiful tree!

Your school days kinda look a bit like ours, huge text books every where . . . ;) I love posts about ordinary days in other people's lives. :)

And I had to smile at the caption with the picture of your brother, I've done that a whole lot with Richard . . . :D

A lovely post, m'dear! :)

Yeah, good post! I don't like school so I feel sorry for anyone I see doing it, but it's still good. ;)

Goodness me! You who do not like school! Whatever shall we do with you? :D

Thank you, Emmie! :) Isn't nice how younger brothers are so submissive? Well...sometimes! ;)
