This is where I long to be...

Where the Willows Weep No More

Across the isles of sunlit dunes,
Far beyond the distant mountains,
There is a land of rivers and trees,
Just where the sky meets water.

Though no one has seen, no one has heard,
They speak of a land so beautiful.
Fairer still than the oceans blue,
And all the gold in the world.

Where sapphires sleep in mossy beds,
Where the birds sing only for him.
Where clouds caress the mountain tops,
And where the willows weep no more.

Where the willows weep no more,
A place that lives on forever.
For if willows never weep again,
That’s where I want to be.

Where dazzling jewels of every kind
Lie sparkling in the sun.
Where roses lift their petals red,
A land where the rain never cries.

The land where all hurts flee,
Where the sun and moon both dance.
The land where all are happy there,
And ugly sorrows are no more.

Trickling streams run soft and low,
The children laugh in the glen.
The land where hope is strong and true,
And where the willows weep no more.
