It's funny how I can just manage to pull myself out of a WWII state of mind into a "The Great Depression" state of mind, and then--low and behold--something like The Boy in the Striped Pajamas pulls me right back in again with a wonderful idea! *headdesk* Oh, the eternal struggle does not wax even half as difficult as the difficulty of "To write or not to write, WHICH ONE is the question!"
