Why autumn is the most beautiful season of the year

Since our family adventures displaced Mundane Monday, I thought I'd just do a quick post today. Sometimes Mondays are disguised as Thursday or Saturdays, even Sundays. I promised you lots of autumn, didn't I?

Prepare to be lambasted with some autumn goodness.

"The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let the dead things go."-Unknown
"Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never watched them dancing on a windy day." -Shira Tamir

My furry faces love autumn walks.

Afternoon light through the leaves.

My beautiful prairie.

I looked up and the blackbirds swooped and dived and played on the wind right above me.

Day's end, home from the walk.

I made an autumn lantern from branches and leaves and tissue paper. The night I lit the candle outside the moon was a Cheshire smiling from a tempest of clouds. The lantern now has a happy place on one of my bookshelves.

Happy autumn, lovelies.

Love, Kayla
