Light through the shades

An afternoon sneaking a peek through the window.
Just one of the many ways He loves me.
And also boy brothers singing National Anthem at the top of their lungs in the car.
Me grinning big cause it's just so happy, this love God loves me with.
Especially when golden light breaks through grey clouds and floods the fields in glimpses of heaven.
You could say they're like lines of light, these gifts, through the grey darkness of the world.
